Lifbeton®

Lifbeton® is a high-performance, cement-based composite material reinforced with alkali-resistant glass fibers (GFRC/GRC), designed for a wide range of architectural and infrastructure applications.

With its advanced composition, Lifbeton® can be manufactured in thicknesses as low as 6 mm, enabling the production of lightweight, high-strength, and impact-resistant elements. Compared to conventional precast concrete products, it offers significantly lower weight while maintaining exceptional structural performance. Its lightweight nature also provides architects with greater freedom to create complex façade geometries and innovative designs.

Applications:

  • Architectural Elements
  • Exterior Façade Panels
  • Lightweight Roofing Systems
  • Permanent Formwork and Bridge Deck Formwork
  • Irrigation and Drainage Channels
  • Cable Ducts
  • Historic Building Restoration Projects

Key Advantages:

  • Lightweight: Easy to transport, handle, and install while minimizing additional structural loads.
  • High Strength: Enables the production of thin, lightweight façade elements with excellent tensile and compressive strength. Its superior durability minimizes the risk of cracking or damage during transportation and installation.
  • Design Flexibility: Easily molded into virtually any shape, texture, or architectural detail.
  • Ideal for Renovation Projects: Well suited for both restoration and refurbishment applications.
  • Architectural Freedom: Offers designers greater flexibility to realize creative and complex forms.
  • Customizable Finishes: Can be pigmented or painted to achieve a wide range of colors and surface finishes.
  • Exceptional Durability: Resistant to harsh weather conditions, corrosion, and environmental exposure.
  • High Impact and Fire Resistance: Delivers enhanced performance in demanding applications.
  • Thermal and Acoustic Performance: Contributes to improved thermal and sound insulation, particularly when used as part of insulated façade systems.
  • Environmentally Responsible: Contains no harmful chemicals and requires less energy during production, supporting more sustainable construction practices.
